MEET THE COACHES

Angela Busuttil

President & Coach

 

With an impressive 45 years of playing experience, Angela has spent a significant portion of her career as an A-grade player. Going beyond her on-court successes, she has devoted 18 years to coaching, working with all age groups, including NetSetGo. Angela has achieved notable success in coaching, securing multiple premierships across 13&U, 15&U, and 17&U teams.

Holding a Development Coaching Accreditation with Netball Victoria, Angela has augmented her coaching skills through various workshops and conferences. Angela is actively involved in mentoring junior coaches, using her wealth of experience, effective communication, and strong leadership skills to ensure continuous growth and success in the dynamic world of netball.

Furthermore, her academic pursuits include a Diploma in Human Resources, showcasing a diverse skill set. Committed to the well-being of young athletes, she also holds a valid Working with Children's Check.

 

Angela is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for the netball community and inspire our young dedicated players.



 

Audrey Busuttil

Junior Coordinator & Coach

Audrey's netball journey encompasses an illustrious 18-year playing career and seven years as a dedicated coach, earning her two coveted premiership coaching titles. Audrey also holds a badged umpire status. attesting to her expertise both on and off the court. She has been an umpire mentor at Parkville for the last two years, helping young umpires develop in their netball knowledge. Additionally, Audrey has Junior Coordinated for three years helping to select players and create teams.

Beyond her netball pursuits, Audrey has seamlessly transitioned into the education sector. completing her Bachelor of Physical Education, Sport & Health (Secondary) in 2021. She has been teaching for three years as well as taking on the role of Interschool Sports Coordinator in this time.

 

Her commitment to holistic sports development is further evident through several game conferences and workshops, as well as completing her Development Coaching Accreditation with Netball Victoria. Audrey not only brings extensive knowledge and passion to the game but also imparts valuable insights to her players.

Audrey is trained in both First Aid and CPR to help provide a safe environment for the netball community.

Audrey's enthusiasm and dedication continues to shape the netball landscape and inspire those she coaches and mentors.
